The Point Tasmania

This architecturally designed residence is built in one of Tasmania’s most breath-taking locations, taking inspiration from the brutalist style.

The framing for this project consists of large-scale stacking sliding doors, large fixed glazing, and ‘Jewel Sashless’ double-hung windows.

The major challenges for this project were the scale and weight of the Viridian Low-e double glazing, and the inability to use a crane for lifting due overhang of the 2m eaves.

The final result is a highly finished, boundary-pushing design that reflects the dramatic nature of its surroundings.
